Hi Lois, I just wanted to comment that I recently happened upon your novels in the Sharing Knife series. I happened across a book store in the Keys and found an obscure (to me at the time) author and the set. I am so very glad that I picked up the works, as I only just finished the first novel in the series. I look forward to getting to know all the worlds you have built. ‘?’ (Required question mark ;)

I'm so glad you discovered my work! Also that you nabbed the whole set right off -- unlike my other more episodic series books, The Sharing Knife really is one story in 4 volumes, and needs to be read together like The Lord of the Rings.
Much more exploration awaits you. Be it noted, some of these things are not like the others, as I vary my style according to viewpoint and world.

Have you noticed? If you have read some of the "Rivers of London" series by Aaronovitch, you are aware that there really are multiple hidden rivers under London. They were once open rivers which have been built over or assigned to underground culverts. *Discover Magazine*, November/December 2021 issue, has an article by Natasha Khullar Relph, which explains how the city is bringing them back above ground again.

This isn't a question, but I haven't been able to get the system to send you a message any other way? My dad loved your books, but we especially enjoyed Curse of Chalion. Sadly he died in 2019 from mesothelioma. Which is when I discovered that the memorial ribbons for all lung cancers are white or cream. My mom and I are now planning a Bastard's Day ribbon for this year. Thank you! Alexa
