How do you get inspired to write?

M.B. Shannon Born with an insatiable curiosity, I spend a lot of time observing the world around me and the people in it. I ask a lot of questions in order to better understand what influenced a people's behaviours and choices. Combined with my love of words and stories, I weave together different pieces of what I read, I see, I hear into a new fabric that somebody can wrap themselves up for a few hours.
I usually start with, "what if" or "that's peculiar". From there the question turns into possibilities, and those become a story.
