Do any of the 3 books so far contain any crossover? Does the read order matter? Plan on reading them all but a friend wants me to pick up Wretched as my first book.

All of the books are complete standalones, each in their own universe. It's only a series in the sense that it's a collection of fractured fairy tales inspired by villains. You can read them in any order!
