Chelsea I hope you are doing well. I'm updating my list of book releases to look out for. I was curious if you had plans for a follow-up to Wake of the Phoenix. If so, where is the best place readers can get updates on that progress or release date? Thanks!

Hi, Chad.
Thank you so much for the question. I do have follow-ups planned for Wake of the Phoenix. The sequel is in drafting right now with a tentative release plan in late 2023.
For the interim, since I know it's hard to wait, I'll be releasing a short story collection later this year with 20 stories following several characters from Wake of the Phoenix in the years before the book opens. This is not a replacement for a prequel novel, which is still in the works as well, but just some additional content to give readers something to engage with while I ensure the quality of the sequel is up to my standards.
For anyone interested in the prequel (as several people have expressed interest in), I want to make sure the main series is on a good release schedule before I branch out. Epic fantasy doesn't need another series unfinished like Robert Jordan or George R.R. Martin.
