Are Smallhope and Pennyroyal based off of Modesty Blaise? They feel as though they have fled from a spy thriller.

I've never actually read any of the Modesty Blaise stories. Something to look out for in the future, perhaps. I simply wanted two characters who were polar opposites. Every now and then I sit down and try to imagine the circumstances under which they met and decided to work together. Thanks for your question.

Hi Jodi. I was wondering what events in time some of the other staff at St Mary’s would like to visit if they had the chance? I always wondered if Dr Rapson would like to see Leonardo Da Vinci at work with some of his creations. Or if Mrs Enderby wanted to see the fashions of the Tudors.
