What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Sreya Bremtin First, don’t give up. It is often hard to feel your efforts are worth it, especially when faced with rejections. Keep plugging away, carve out time for your writing at every opportunity. Keep in mind that the time you devote to writing doesn’t always have to be the physical act of writing itself. You need to nourish your mind with time to dream and explore, to replenish your creative energies. You can’t run your engine dry and expect it to never break down.
