Read, read, read! Obviously, every writer has a different method to learn how to write, but for me, it was to read widely in my genre and see what works or doesn't work for me in romance. I would also say to persevere! It's possible your first book won't be extraordinary, but what you will learn from writing a book from start to finish, even if you never publish it, is tremendous and very important for your growth as a writer.
