Hi Sarah, I was wondering, how long does it typically take for you to come up with a concept for a new book? Do they tend to come naturally to you as you're just going about your day to day, or do you have to usually sit down and really ponder about them? What is the writing process like? I'd love to write someday, but don't even know where to begin! Your books are amazing, thank you for sharing your talent!

Hi Hillary, thank you for your question and for your kind words - I'm so pleased you enjoy my books and apologies for taking a while to reply. I've had a deadline and a book release which have kept me busy.
I don't really know where my ideas come from - they just come to me (fortunately!) and then I sit down and develop them. It's hard work, but I love it. Good luck with your own writing. There is so much helpful information on the internet now and the best advice is almost always to just sit down and write!
Warmly, Sarah

I have to put in a ? for this to be accepted by the site. Thanks so much for your response Sarah. I am so in love with your writing. The Doukakis Apprentice was my all time favourite HP / Mills and Boon - and believe me, I have read thousands over the last thirty years. The characterization, dialogue were absolutely perfect. You're a fabulous writer and thanks for giving so much joy to so many people. Keep safe.
