Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Amanda Bryk My first novel, Locked Away, was in part born out of a need to share a piece of my own personal experience. I worked over night in a jail, where I would entertain myself with wild stories, played out in my mind like Hollywood blockbusters. Of all the jobs I’ve had throughout my life, being a Corrections officer was by far the most interesting.
