I loved your book so much, but felt the cover didn't match. Was it a publisher choice to choose that one?

So glad you liked the book! I had input into the cover, and although I wasn't thrilled with it (I don't think the woman comes close to portraying the character or what she represents) I think the publisher wanted to emphasize the fun in the book. They did change the typeface for me and did listen closely to my concerns about this looking very chick-lit/romcom, but in the end it was their decision.

Like everyone I’m in love with the book. I bought it on kindle and it’s so hard to re-read bits so I’m going to buy it in hardback!. I was desperate to find out who could have written such a book so read your bio and to my astonishment you also swim at the Hampstead Ponds! I’m writing a book and I’m finding cold water swimming helps me think through blocks or plot options. Has swimming helped you in this way?
