How do you get inspired to write?

M. A. Plume I lost my inspiration a few years back, well and truly hitting a brick wall with my writing. I started publishing books that I didn't like, nor connected with. So, I decided to take a massive step back, stopping all projects for something totally different. For something I believed in. It wasn't just a story to me, it was so much more, an idea that had been brewing for well over a decade. So, if you're looking for inspiration, write about something that you're truly passionate about, rather than empty words on a page that means nothing to you.
