Hello, Do you think e-books are more popular for short stories and novellas than printed books?
Lois McMaster Bujold
It's hard for very short works to be profitably marketed on paper. People expect a certain heft for the price they must pay. Short story collections and anthologies, which are the only way to make up market weight, are notoriously poor sellers in paper compared to novels. (Novella collections aren't much better.) So yeah, I don't know about popular, but ala carte short stories are much more possible to sell electronically than on paper.
(A collection, in this context, is a book of stories by one writer; an anthology is a book of stories by many writers.)

Do you remember that in your August 3rd reddit AMA, I asked you a question regarding your most cherished book you ever lost? I mentioned that mine was the ARC of The Curse of Chalion that I misplaced. My wife read the AMA and secretly bought me a signed copy of the ARC as a replacement. I just wanted to let you know that there was a happy ending! (I'm not letting this copy out of my sight!)

I've been reading some books published decades ago but only fairly recently available in Kindle format. Some of them have tons of typos in them. How could those be introduced? I would think they'd already be in a computerized version or at worst case could be scanned in. These were best sellers btw.

Dear Ms McMaster Bujold, we plan to hold the fancy-dress ball in the beginning of May. It will be Barrayaran Ball. We want to create decorations for the hall. Could you tell us, what could be shown in the State Emblem of of Barrayar and the coat of arms of family Vorbarra? At least some of these objects are depicted on the coat of arms) Thank you very much in advance. Your Russian fans
