I loved the book "Brotherhood". What gave you the idea of Ruugs character?

She is inspired mostly by Kira Nerys from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine with a little big of Garrus Vakarian from Mass Effect (in particular, Mass Effect 1 when he's a disgruntled C-Sec officer).
