Hello Pearl, thanks for your kind words. I did toy with the idea of a third book for some time but I've gone off in a different direction for now. You might be interested to know that there is a Calpurnia stage musical in the works but it won't be out for while. All the best, JK

My 9yo daughter and I are longing for a third book in the series. We would love to see how she develops, whether she goes off to college, and the family reactions to all of that. I saw that you said you have now gone in a different direction, but is there any hope of revisiting this someday? I can so imagine a satisfyingly long arc for this strong protagonist & her progeny akin to Anne of Green Gables. Thanks!
