Hi Dale, Sorry I missed your question until now.
I doubt we are related, but I appreciate the question. My father's given last name was DeBenedictis, which he shortened in WWll. He flew B-25's and P-40's over China. My oldest son is active military as well (USNA grad), flying helos for the Navy. I have no military experience, but did work part time in our local VA hospital after retiring from community hospital practice (anesthesia). Enjoy your retirement!

John, Greetings again on this 2nd Sunday of Lent and thank you for replying. Please thank your son for his continuing service to our USN. Our son is also active military (USMA grad!), serving as a Special Operations Officer at Fort Bragg. Actually, the shortage of school teachers and my continued willingness to serve is pulling me out of retirement to teach!? D>Mark
