Stalemate is based on the still 'unsolved' Wallace murder case (Liverpool UK - 1931), something I've always been interested in. The plot owes much to 'The Killing of Julia Wallace' Gannon, 2012, Amberley.

Good morning on this sunny Sunday.Thank you for your answer,I will contact Martin? 1st novel was an historical Romance set at the turn of the nineteenth century.That was published by a vanity publisher at a reasonable price.This was produced as an eread. I was lucky in finding a traditional publisher with no agent for The Liberty Bodice my 2nd novel is published as an eread and paperback Best wishes Joy.
