Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Riley Quinn I wrote a little novella about a polycule welcoming in a demon and fell in love with the characters. Originally I toyed with the idea of writing a story about their kids but rather than going so far into the future I simply invented an older daughter for the demon and spun relationships around her. I don't think it's too much of a spoiler to say that the original polycule makes a return in "The Fool, The Lovers, The Devil" as background characters.
