Possibly. I haven't ruled out the possibility. My worry is that readers are very passionate about "The Vixen and the Vet" and I'm not certain I can deliver a novella that equals or surpasses the novel. Some authors write a fluffy follow-up to cash in on the popularity of the original book; I have no interest in doing that, which means the novella would have to dig back into their story with a substantive plotline. Here's the problem with that: Asher and Savannah already got their "happily ever after." A novella would need a new challenge or crisis for them to overcome together...and I'm just not positive I want to write that. They've already had to overcome a lot to be together...I feel like they earned the right to be happy without conflict. Add to this, while I'm writing my books, I watch them like a movie in my head...and honestly, when I think of Asher and Savannah right now, I just see them living happily together in Maryland. I don't see conflict, and I'd need a good conflict for a good plotline...so I'm a bit at a loss. We'll see what happens. If I can think of a good, manageable conflict for them to overcome, I may consider returning to their story. Thanks for your question!

I just read your book The Vixen and the Vet and loved it. I do have a question about the use of deity though. I noticed throughout the book that the characters were big on making it a point to NOT swear, or point out when someone did or was on the verge. Why the use of deity so much? To me, it's a very strong and harsh form of speaking (actually, more of a turn off) and made me cringe every time I came across it.

Hey Katy! I'm so in love with the WInslow Brothers series!! Soon, Cameron (my love) will grace us with his presence. What is the best part of THIS story? Very different than Brooks or Preston? Do you try to make the brothers very different? He is known to be a rather hothead. Does Cam have a redeeming quality? Maybe after he falls for Margaret?
