Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Brian John When I was on a university expedition to East Greenland in 1962, a number of pretty hair-raising incidents occurred, and I observed some rather mysterious things going on which probably had something to do with USA / USSR Cold War skullduggery. I have held the germ of an idea in my head ever since then, and a couple of years ago it formed itself into a story that had to be written down.
