What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Stanislava Buevich It happened yesterday and so the mystery is fresh in my mind. A few weeks ago I held a launch party for my long-awaited first book (Maya Fairy). We decorated the cafe with balloons - fifteen or so blue and pink orbs carpeted the ceiling, long matching ribbons dangled down onto the guests' shoulders. My daughter Maya couldn't resist taking them home after the event, of course. The next day we went on holiday, leaving the balloons as they were in the kitchen and locked up the house. Two weeks later we came back to find the balloons scattered around the whole house (understandably) semi-hovering in all the strange places. What is completely inexplicable, however, is the fact that all the strings that were tied around them have gone missing!!! Incidentally, Maya Fairy is all about fairies who live in our home. I am starting to think that, perhaps, I was on to something...
