Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Aegelis I don't read a lot, not nearly as much as I should, usually because the author is going directions I don't want to go or detailing minutia when I'm more interested in other events. So with X (Captain Ruik's Adventure), I was looking to create a story I wanted to read but one that left sufficient imagination for the reader to fill in the blanks.
