I believe putting efforts comes before feeling motivated, not the other way around. That's why I make myself take action, and motivation follows. Like many writers, starting the first paragraph is the hardest part. But once I write a bit, I get the motivation to continue. So, instead of waiting for motivation, make yourself write a few paragraphs each day. It helps you find the motivation you need to keep going.
