How do you get inspired to write?

A.R. Morgan Combination of things, actually. My best friend of 16 years passed away unexpectedly; he was a librarian and author himself, and he would always listen to my random ideas and fantasies, urging me to put them to paper but I always told him I would be terrible at it. Then when he passed, I was telling my other best friend of my idea and wished I could tell him that I was tired of romances never going how I want and she said, "Well then, write it." It was history from that point on.
