Martha Freeman Tell your eight-year-old daughter she has excellent taste! I'd be delighted to write more Chickadee Court books, but the publisher tells me it's all about what the market demands, and not everyone is as discerning as your daughter. (Cue quiet tears.) Maybe she would like Effie Starr Zook Has Questions, Strudel's Forever Home, Noah McNichol or my latest, Trashed? And soon The Secret Cookie Club books, which are not mysteries but are fun.
