I write the craziest scene I can think of--something really out there, that I would never dream of including in the book I'm working on. (Of course, these scenes have a sneaky way of somehow actually winding up in the finished manuscript anyway, like the "manure-spreader" scene in IN A FIX, or the infamous "OMG! I Can't Believe She Did That!" scene in THE BIG FIX.)
