I love your books so much, they got me trough middle school and now I'm excited to see how the trio deals with college stuff in the chalice of the gods. I wanted to ask if you've heard of the headcannon of aromantic leo and what do you think about it?

Haven't heard of that one before. I am happy for readers to head cannon anything they like, but it makes more sense if there is evidence to support that idea in the books. Personally, I have a hard time seeing Leo as aro based on how he acts, talks and thinks in the books, unless he is deep in denial. I suppose you could argue that, but it seems like a stretch. Still, what I might say about this or that opinion after the fact is not relevant, nor does it make any one interpretation more true than any other. The only canon is what is written in the books, so interpret away. Just be able to back up your opinion with evidence! (Yes, I was an English teacher. I like examples.)

Hi, Rick! After reading all your books, I’m really inspired to become an author. I’ve seen some people that plan the whole book out and make a chapter outline and others that just keep writing without a plan till the book is over. Which do you reccommend and use? Thanks.

Hello! I started reading your books 11 years ago and am a dedicated fan. five years ago I even wrote my college essay about how your books influenced my life (funny given your recent PJ plot). Someone must have liked it because I got into school and am now getting my Master's in Museum Studies. That said, do you often use museums for research and inspiration? If so, how do you utilize a museum and its collection?
