How do you get inspired to write?

Beth Willis Miller I am inspired to write by life experiences. Sometimes it can be a song on the radio that just lights up my heart, and I begin to connect-the-dots from that inspiration to things I have read, research I have done, places I have been, or experiences I have had. It seems the words just begin to flow once the dots are connected.
