My most recent book is MURDER IN BABYLON, a novel based on the William Desmond Taylor murder, Hollywood's most baffling unsolved mystery.
The case has always fascinated me and, since I did virtually all of my research back in the 1970s, I was able to interview people like legendary newspaperwoman Adela Rogers St. Johns, directors King Vidor and Allan Dwan and even Mary Miles Minter, a key figure in the case.
Why did it take so long for the book to be published? I got distracted with some paying writing jobs and, over the years, I'd totally forgotten I'd written the manuscript. But, better late than never.
