Will the Tarot Sequence Books at some point come out as fancy Hardcover like The Eidolon? My Paperbacks already look sad 😅
K.D. Edwards
Hard to say. Rainbow Crate (a subscription book service) actually had a promotion where they sold 500 hardcover sets of the trilogy. They did a beautiful job, and even had 2 bonus covers per book. Those sold out fairly quickly. Getting the order licensed was a complicated endeavor, however -- I'm not sure if future orders are being planned.
I will say that the experience I had self-producing the Eidolon (well, self-producing the eBook, but working directly with Rainbow Crate on the hardcover, and Audible on the audio version) was a phenomenally positive experience, and I hope to do much more with that in the future. I am so impressed with how Rainbow Crate planned the hardcover, in particular. I wish I had the power to make the same sort of decisions for the main series!!

First of all I wanted to say that I absolutely adore your books and they live rent free in my head the whole time. I read them all one after the other and I'm planning on rereading them this summer. I also wanted to ask, I loved the Eidolon, and knowing more about the children and their perspective, are you planning on writing a sequel for them? Best of lucks with writing the next tarot sequence book!

Hello! I just saw that you liked my reviews. That wasn't something I was expecting to happen, but thank you for your attention! To reiterate: I greatly enjoy your writing style, and the glimpses of the bigger story in the first two books definitely have me intrigued. I have a little bit of fanart as a way to show my appreciation - is there any way to show it to you other than tag you on twitter and hope for the best?

Hi! So, I was wondering. In the Last Sun, Quinn asks Rune why he's speaking slowly, as though Quinn doesn't speak English. But then, we have Old Atlantean, and what I assume is New Atlantean, and we're told the humans think Atlantean is the new Klingon. So what are they speaking on the island? English, New Atlantean? Do they learn other languages in school? Sorry if this question has been asked before!
