How do you get inspired to write?

Nicholas Paschall I listen to music and drink coffee at my desk while flipping through scary images on Google. Whenever I see an image I haven't seen before I try and imagine the story that goes with it, and just write down what I come up with. Sometimes I delete the work when I'm done, because I don't think it's up to snuff. Rarely do I keep the story; I must delete three out of five stories I write.
