How do you deal with writer’s block?

Ronda Gibb Hinrichsen The only writer's block I tend to have is when I'm in the middle of writing a story, and I can't figure out how the characters would move from point A to point B. In those cases, sometimes all I have to do is get up and do something mundane, like laundry, and the the answer will come. If it's one I'm really stumped on, sometimes it helps me to read something else for a bit, just to let my mind rest, or to move on to another part of the story that I do know. That way, I'm not wasting my writing time.
