I am currently finishing up the manuscript for "Dance Production: Design & Technology" to be published by Focal Press in October 2015. It is a book that addresses the process of designing and producing for dance. Too often, dance productions combine together a group of artists who don't speak the same language (theatre and dance). My goal for this text is to create a book that allows for dancers to understand more about the stagecraft that goes into producing dance, while offering insight into the dance process for theatre artists. It is the first dance production book in many years to focus on this aspect.
