I've always been a fan of apocalyptic stories especially ones with supernatural tones, and when I first sat down to write the story was originally going to be about the Archangel Michael and his role in the end of days. After a few pages I realized that story had been told over and over and I needed something new so I made the story about people who were part angel and the missions they had been charged with instead.
