Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Adam B. Ford My most recent book is South Side of the Sea, and the inspiration came from reading Robert Kurson’s book Pirate Hunters. In it, he describes what is known about the pirate Joseph Bannister and from that, i constructed a time-hopping tale about what might have happened in his final days, with a fourteen-year-old girl along for the ride.
