Loving your stories. Ive always wondered how old are nikki and Joseph are along with your other characters?

Sorry for the delay in answering, Sam, this one slipped through the net! When I first wrote Crime on the Fens, Nikki was 36, and Joseph was 38, and I've aged them naturally as the years have passed, taking into consideration that two books might have been written in one year. In the last book published, Nikki was around 44, and Joseph two years older. The only older detective in my books is Matt Ballard who retired and then became a private investigator. Hope this helps and I'm delighted that you like the series. Joy x

Hi Joy, I‘m just listening (again ;-)) to Solace House in expectation of the new book released next week. I just love them all. Audible doesn‘t say if RA is reading it as well…. I’m reading here, he might not. Is he? Or isn‘t he? - I cannot imagine listening to the well loved characters with somebody else performing them… I‘d like to pre-order, but it‘ll be the book if RA is not reading the audio book. THX

I am amazed at the creativity you possess. How do you do it? I am currently deep in the Matt Ballard series and am awestruck at how you have shifted gears in that one. Although part of the same universe, it is strikingly different from the other series. I still can not get over how you have described the blood in Five bloody hearts. I also have Stella's story line up. Looking forward to many more from you.
