How do you get inspired to write?

K. Presence I have lots of notes I keep as ideas for a good book. Some I have chapters invested already. Others are just brief outline. As I go along I try to envision which director would like what I'm doing, then I try to figure what actors that director would like and often structure characters to be a fit for the actor.

I'll give a character a voice: This guy acts and speaks with the style of Wm Holden in Stalag 17. This helps me keep the character consistent.
