Hi Lena! I am a huge fan of GIRLS and your new book. Gotta show love for my fellow feminist ladies. What is your response to some feminist critique of your work not being inclusive of women of color and 'other' female experiences? Or, specifically, that only speaking to 'white girl feminism' is not enough? Thank you in advance for you sharing your time!

Over the last three years I have had a massive education on the ways that race and feminism intersect and how important it is for white feminists not to ignore the issues of their WOC sisters. I hope the show has and continues to reflect this growing knowledge, and I try to remain open to education and conversation and grow grow grow. I feel very lucky to all the feminists who have supported my education on these issues and hope that my future activism and advocacy work shows an understanding of just how essential and intersectional approach to feminism is. xoxo
