Hello Ashtottara,
My first solo book was my collection of poems. It was scary (for various reasons) but my friends (especially one of them) persisted and kept nudging me to try it. It was easier once I learned how to format and publish the book on KDP. It sure helped that my friends read most of the poems from the collection. Publishing a novel as my first book would have been harder, maybe.

Ok, I was looking for a scary ghost story or haunted house story and thought of you and decided to check out some of your horror stories. Thank goodness for trigger warnings!!! Anyway, on a scale of 1-5, 5 being horro filled, do you have any recommendations for scary stories in the 1-3 range?
