Goodreads asked Jeanette Gower:

How do you get inspired to write?

Jeanette Gower My readers inspire me. I get questions from horse breeders and owners trying to solve specific problems, and those questions lead to books. "How do I pick the right horse?" led to Buy The Right Horse. "How do I market my horses fairly?" led to Sell Your Horse The Right Way. "What should I actually feed my dog?" led to Homemade Dog Food Recipes. Real people with real problems are the best source of inspiration for writers.
