My name is Peppa and I'm a lifelong fantasy genre fan. I particularly like hero=development and events that shape people stories so I am drawn to this question - its made me think about my own origin story in a way!
I grew up in inner London, with very little I the way of outdoor spaces. My friends and I gravitated to books, graphic novels and comics. Stan Lee were a particular favourite of mine. His storylines were all about the innate human spirit and our ability to overcome adversity and turn difficult experiences into something positive and serve in the process - the key message is altruism. This resonated with me and influenced my writing, which has taken on a form of reaching out to the reader to feel inspired to continue, to have courage, even in the darkest of times in their own lives. I hope that people read my books and are taken on an emotional journey, through the highs and the lows, as well as kept drawn in, entertained and, most of all, I hope my readers enjoy the development of the characters.
I use writing to connect and be connected with a community of people who enjoy this genre. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and read what I enjoy writing about.
