I really love your books, especially ASOM-I'd always wanted to see Hazel go to Hong Kong ! I have two questions about it- in MMU, Hazel's dad called her mum Lin, but then in ASOM, she was Ka Yan -was Lin her nickname? Second, I have a Chinese friend who's also a fan and she thought it was unusual Mr Wong's wives had his name - was it bc of the 1930 law change to stop them being outsiders in husband's family?

You've noticed one of the only continuity errors in the series! I gave her the name Lin way back in MMU but then when it came time for me to imagine her more clearly I felt it didn't quite fit her, so I renamed her. But you can certainly think of it as a nickname if you'd like!
In terms of the last name thing, yes, Mr Wong is trying to be quite westernised, so he'd use more Western last naming conventions. If anyone asked, May and Rose would need to say that Hazel's mother is their mother too, even though of course within the family they all know that she's not!

I am really sorry for having so many questions, curiosity is annoying. I have FINALLY read all of the books in the series (kind of) and I have very quickly come to the conclusion due mostly to Jolly Foul Play that Hazel might just have more than a 'pash' on Alexander. I might be being a little too much like Daisy in this conclusion, but as soon as I saw the title for the new book (Mistletoe?) I had to ask.

I just started reading your book series Wells and Wong, but unfortunately only one thus far! (The third one) and I have three questions, the first being about the future of the book series. I have yet to read Jolly Foul Play, and I'm wondering, will there be more from Alexander in the next book or the next few? I really liked his character and and Hazel's attitude to him was really interesting to read...
