Since you're one of my favourite authors, what is your favourite book? It can be a book that you have written yourself, but a book from another author is also good. :) Thank you!

Denise Hunter Hi Anna! I'm so glad you enjoy my books. My favorite book is probably Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. It's really surprising since I read contemporary almost exclusively, but it is a powerful story. Happy reading!

I love your work and noticed that you have dealt with the issue of rape a couple of times in your novels, especially Mending Places (MP), which was a very emotional read. Where do you get the inspiration for your work? I really struggled with the fact that the heroine in MP ended up with the hero, was it a difficult novel for you to write, given the sensitive nature of the topic?

I'm an aspiring writer, but I'm dealing with two things: I get discouraged every single day because 96% of manuscripts are rejected, and I haven't had an idea for years, literally. There's too many people wanting to be writers, and knowing there's so much competition just kills me a little every day. When I get motivated, immediatly something appears about the industry that kills it. Any tips on how to deal with this?
