Rose Rosetree:
What makes this memoir "Bigger Than All the Night Sky" different from all the others?
Rose Rosetree
The answer is simple-ish, Charlene. Thanks for asking.
Bigger Than All the Night Sky is the first memoir of a spiritual teacher, an Enlightenment Coach, who would pioneer new knowledge appropriate to the Age of Awakening.
Granted, this second major era for humans began only recently. Many of you Goodreaders may not even be familiar with that term, not yet.
The Age of Awakening, what’s that? And what has changed so far, during this subtly different second era that began during our lifetimes?
For answers to questions like these, I suggest this resource: Seeking Enlightenment in the Age of Awakening. There you’ll find a practical Program for Spiritual Enlightenment, not a traditional program but a program designed for those of us living after the “Shift,” which happened worldwide on December 21, 2012; a Shift that was widely heralded most of that year, yet was completely ignored by media after it actually happened: the Shift into the Age of Awakening.
This 2nd Era Matters More than Being a Millennial or Gen-Z
At this time in cultural history, our generational groups seem to be immensely important, don’t they? Charlene and everyone else reading here, don’t you respect those labels? I sure do.
Definitely informative background results when you find out if an author – or potential friend -- is a Millennial or a Gen-Z or a Baby Boomer (like me).
In the long run, though, guess what? Eventually every single one of us living now may feel an unexpected kind of awe, a respect for being among those who bridged both the Age of Faith and the Age of Awakening. Yes, I’m predicting that will come to matter more than today's colorful labels like Millennial.
All of us living now have something huge in common, something historically huge. One day each of us was living in the Age of Faith, as humans had done for millennia. While ever since this historic Shift, each of us has been living in the Age of Awakening – know it or not, like it or not, adapting well to it or not.
Quite Possibly I’m the First Enlightenment Teacher of this New Era
One clue is that I originated the term “Age of Awakening.” How did that happen?
Back when writing my first book about living well after the Shift, I needed a good name for this emerging era. After all, I was writing a how-to about thriving now, exploring some subtle-but-vital differences to how human consciousness works now.
Back in the day, I couldn’t find anything on the internet that worked for me as a fitting term for this new era:
* The Aquarian Age
* The Aquarian New Age
* The Shift Age
* Or the Age of Energy
Really????
So I cocreated a new term and featured it in The New Strong. On my personal blog I likewise introduced the term “Age of Awakening.”
As with some other terms that I’ve originated as an author (like Empath Empowerment(R) and the Power of Face Reading) this has begun to catch on. Not that I have big fame karma, where many people give me credit. Fine with me! I’m simply here to reach the people I can reach and teach the people I can teach.
So many more Enlightenment Coaches Will Follow
They’ll build on what I’ve begun; they’ll know far more than I do, and more power to them! For thousands of years to come, spiritual teachers for the Age of Awakening will carry forward the momentum of this emerging-and-historic opportunity, serving as the thought leaders of their time, helping courageous souls who aim to use their full potential in life.
Meanwhile I’m doing what I can as one of those teachers, an early one. Maybe the best way to think of my life work… is that I’m contributing a something.
Back when I worked for Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, as one of his many teachers of Transcendental Meditation, my guru saw this era coming. He spoke of the dawning of this time. As I recall, Maharishi said something like this:
Most people won’t see the dawn, but you can be among the first to wake up and see it. Help to bring in the dawn of this coming age.
Back to the Memoir of This Spiritual Teacher
Charlene and other Goodreaders, this first of my memoirs is set long before the Shift. It recounts how it happened that I became a spiritual teacher in the first place – something I never sought, and seemingly was impossible.
Some day I would like to write a sequel, recording how I went from teaching TM to becoming an Enlightenment Coach in the Age of Awakening, one of many Age of Awakening teachers to come.
But whether that happens or not, at least I’ve been able to give you the very human story, the Boomer story, the native New Yorker story, the Jewish story, the unskilled empath story, the writer’s story, the Age of Faith-er story, and the story of a spiritual seeker who could not quit: Bigger than All the Night Sky.

Rose Rosetree:
Hi Rose, In regards to your Empath Book series... What is the difference between your books about Empath Empowerment, and the books that Judith Orloff and Judy Dyer write? I think your books are self-published - correct me if I'm wrong there. I have a lot of respect for self-publishers. Did you find you had more freedom to write what you wanted to write, as a self-publisher?

Hi Rose...I loved your book "Read People Deeper: Body Language + Face Reading + Auras" and refer to it often. It's so useful. I was wondering, why did you decide to write a book where all three (Body Language, Face Reading, Aura Reading) are included together, rather than just teaching the separately?
