Jordan (Forever Lost in Literature)
Jordan (Forever Lost in Literature) asked L.E. Modesitt Jr.:

Do you draw from any of your own life experiences? Not necessarily specific events being replicated, but rather themes, emotions, or how you handle life experiences?

Carl Federl
Carl Federl asked L.E. Modesitt Jr.:

In Isolate, discovered that you may have been subtle in the choice of character names. Steffan is crown in old German and Deckard is roofer in Dutch, so Crown Protector? Avraal Ysella is "modest flower of spring" , Axel Obredur is "worker for peace" and Ingella is "Daughter of Hero". Do more of the character names have subtle meanings of importance? P.S.
