Can I just say I LOVE your book "Easy!" Not only did I fall in love with Lucas, but I also fell in love with his and Jacqueline's relationship as well! I read the entire book within two days. I simply couldn't stop turning the pages! I wanted to ask, was there ever a "Lucas" in your life?

Lucas is a product of my imagination, as are the two heroes I wrote before him and the one I'm working on now. If any of them are similar in personality to the love of my life, I'm afraid that character would be Reid. (Very telling: Reid is *his* favorite of all my guys, LOL.) What my heroes have in common: a fierce protectiveness coupled with a desire for the girl/woman they each love to reach for what she wants most out of life and get it. In those things, they're all like my husband, who's been the most supportive person in my life of my need to be a professional storyteller - through years of stops and starts and failure. No relationship is perfect, but what we have at this point in our lives comes as close as humanly possible, and that's pretty cool.
