Q
Q asked Christian Klaver:

When you write stories featuring existing characters (like in your Sherlock Holmes books), how much do you try to sound like the source character? Is that difficult for you?

Christian Klaver Getting Sherlock's and Watson's (and Doyle's) voice isn't just *a* thing for me with this kind of writing, it's *the* thing. If you watch Star Trek and Kirk doesn't sound like Kirk and Spock doesn't sound like Spock, it's all over for me. So that's gotta click or the whole thing doesn't work.
