Read all 4 Greatcoats books in less than a week, a testament to my enjoyment of them & my ability to not sleep. I really loved the friendship between Falcio, Kest and Brasti- so well written! I’m already missing their voices in my head… although it is now quieter in there which is probably better for my sanity! You’ve mentioned they’ll be back- will that be fronting their own series again or as cameos in others?

In the short term, both Falcio and Kest appear in some of the short stories in my Tales of the Greatcoats collection, which you can find here: https://decastell.com/book/tales-of-t...
In the upcoming Court of Shadows series, Falcio, Kest and Brasti will be making cameos now and then, but won't be in starring roles for some time yet; they deserve a break after all they went through in the first four books!

Mr. de Castell, I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the first novel in the Greatcoats series, fantastic! I'm waiting on the second to get to me and when it does I'm sure I'll devour it as well. Finished the first in less than 24hrs. I would recommend Micheal J. Sullivan's books if you haven't read them. Hello Sebastien! My question is, if you're familiar, under the old Dungeon and Dragons alignment system, do you consider the Greatcoats to be Lawful Good or Lawful Neutral? The lawful part is obvious, but I'm not sure if they are more Good or Neutral. If they are LG, then I like how this provides a much more nuanced vision of the alignment than the goody-goody or near-fanatical portrayals that I've encountered!
