In my opinion the New Testament has 3 layers the surface layer being the literal interpretation. The 2nd layer being the mirror coded parallels with Josephus writings and the inter-textual connections to the New Testament. The 3rd layer of the NT is the Piso thesis with the royal language and filthy sexual undertones. What do you think Roman?
