What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Les Roberts I hate long drives to work, bad traffic, and in NE Ohio, lousy weather. But like most writers, I work at home so I don't care about weather and traffic. My office is 24 feet from my bed. I work when I want to, I stop when I feel like it, no one is standing over me telling me it's 9 a.m. and time to get to work, I don't take crap from anyone because I'm all alone most of the day, and every so often I send in a manuscript to a publisher and they send me back MONEY. Writing is the best job in the world.
