How do you get inspired to write?

Jennifer Moorhead I was the kid who looked forward to the summer reading list. I loved books and I loved creating stories. My writing started with my Hello Kitty diary and continued from there! Also, my father was the storyteller in our family and his bedtime stories always had a spooky twist. My sister and I would huddle together, wide-eyed in anticipation as he told us about the haunted attic in his grandmother's east Texas home.
